 Beginning Choir (6th Graders)

This is a one-year course where 6th grade students have a  chance to begin developing their voices and their musical skills in a middle school setting.  Beginning Choir Students will perform in the Winter Concert, Spring Show and a trip to Katy Mills Mall in May.  Also, they will be encouraged to learn and perform a solo for Spring Branch ISD Solo and Ensemble Contest.  Last but not least, this choir will be lots of fun!!!

Intermediate Choir (7th and 8th Graders)

This group will continue with the skills that they have learned in Beginning Choir.  This group will be able to sing more difficult songs that may have 2- or 3-part harmony.  Members of this choir will be encouraged to participate in the district Solo and Ensemble contest as well as audition for the Region Choir. 

Advanced Choir (7th and 8th Graders)

The Advanced Choir is an audition-only group that includes some of the best 7th and 8th grade singers at Landrum!  This group will be required to perform a solo or as part of a group at the district Solo and Ensemble Contest.  Also, this group will be auditioning individually for the Region Choir, as well as go to the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest in April.  The Advanced Choir works very hard to show Houston that the Landrum Choir is a great program with lots of musical talent!!
