The Speech classes at Landrum are designed to educate our students about the wonderful worlds of speech giving, and acting. We strive to give our students the tools and opportunities that are necessary to learn to enjoy and feel comfortable speaking and performing in front of different types of audiences, including their peers. By focusing on, and practicing both verbal and non-verbal communication skills, our students are able to gain the confidence to become outstanding communicators. The students will also gain the experience of collaborating effectively in a group setting, as well as develop the skills necessary to work effectively on their own.

Informative Speech - Since the Speech class is performance based, we expect every student to outline, prepare, and present an informative speech on a topic of their choice. The students will present their speeches in front of the class. I look forward to hearing each and every one of your brilliant speeches!
