Art One
The duration of this course is one school semester and is offered to all sixth grade students at Landrum Middle School. Students learn about the Principles and Elements of Art. This course is an introduction to Art and students are given the opportunity to explore their creative side.

Advanced Art Class
The duration of this course is one school year and is offered to seventh and eighth grade students at Landrum Middle School. This course continues where Art One leaves off. In addition to revisiting the Principles and Elements of Art, students experiment with a variety of mediums such as Charcoal, Oil Pastels, Acrylic Paint, Colored pencils, and Clay. Also, using information and skills obtained during Art One and this course, students create individual Art portfolios that can be expanded as they continue with advanced Art courses or develop skills on their own.
