Science classes at Landrum Middle School study an integrated curriculum of chemical, physical, life, and earth sciences. Every science class emphasizes the use of process skills as well as lab safety when conducting experiments. Pre-Advance Placement classes are offered at all 3 grade levels in science.

    Chemical and Physical Properties; Force and Motion; Matter and Energy; Rock Cycle; Structure and Function in Living Systems; Genetics; Internal and External Stimuli; Weather and Water; Components of the Solar System
  • 7th Grade
    Catastrophic Events; Deposition and Erosion; Phases of the Moon; Day/Nights and Seasons; Simple Machines (Levers and Pulleys); Periodic Table; Chemical and Physical Changes; Potential and Kinetic Energy; Organisms and the Environment; Genetics; Human Body
  • 8th Grade
    Chemistry; Genetics; Universe; Oceanography; Earth History; Forces of Motion
