History
The History of Landrum
Established in 1957, H. M. Landrum was built to serve the Ridgecrest community of Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston, TX. Named after Horace Max Landrum, Superintendent of SBISD at the time, who went above and beyond in his call of duty to lead SBISD and its schools to academic excellence. This junior high stands as a testament to Horace Max Landrum’s legacy as it continues to serve Spring Branch ISD students and lead them towards lifelong learning and excellence in academic achievement.
