I’m very excited to start a new school year at Landrum as one of the Assistant Principals. I’m looking forward to helping all students get a great start in middle school as they begin the process of planning out their future.
Before becoming an administrator, I started my education at the University of Texas and the University of Houston where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration. I began my teaching career as a Pre-AP World History and World History teacher in 2004. I taught AP Government, Economics and U.S. History as well. I served as an Instructional Specialist in Social Studies and Interventionist for five years. In 2012 I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Leadership and I am so excited to be part of the team here at Landrum Middle School.
I look forward to a new and exciting year!
8th Grade Assistant Principal
Mrs. Stacy Sanchez
After finishing my undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University in Ohio, I moved to Houston, Texas to start my career as an elementary school teacher. I spent several years teaching elementary school and then had the opportunity to teach middle school in Spring Branch ISD. While teaching middle school, I pursued my passion and that was to become an administrator and began my Master’s Degree in Education Administration & Supervision at the University of Houston. While I was working on my master’s degree, I started a leadership role as a School Improvement Specialist for Language Arts and Social Studies at Northbrook High School where I supported teachers and students. A few years later, I moved into the role as an assistant principal at Northbrook High School where I remained for the last 7 years.
I am excited to be a Landrum Lion and the 8th grade assistant principal!
