About Your Librarian

Welcome!  My name is Mr. Vernon and I am the Teacher Librarian at Landrum Middle School.

I have a BA in History from York College of PA, a MEd in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University, and a Master of Library Sciences degree from Drexel University. I have taught in schools for several years prior to becoming a librarian and I worked for 20+ years as a director of youth programs.  Most recently, I was a World History Teacher at Spring Woods HS, a Literacy Specialist for Houston Public Library, and a Peace Corps volunteer in Grenada.

My passions are supporting teachers in curriculum development and research- I love partnering with teachers and students to locate the right resources!  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I am looking forward to assisting you in any manner.
