Mathematics

The Landrum Middle School Math team is dedicated to student success in mathematics. Through real-world and hands-on learning activities and discussions, we will foster a life-long love and appreciation of math both inside and outside the classroom.

We are preparing our students to:
Think critically and analytically
Use logical reasoning to draw conclusions
Use problem solving strategies to seek reasonable solutions to problems
Collaborate effectively with others
Select appropriate technology to solve problems

Homework Policy

6th Grade
Homework is given each night (Monday-Thursday). Homework is expected not to last more than 15 minutes.

7th Grade
Homework is given each night (Monday-Thursday). Homework is expected not to last more than 15 minutes.

8th Grade
Homework is given each night (Monday-Thursday). Homework is a completion of class work that should take no longer than 30 minutes.

Algebra
Homework is given each night (Monday-Thursday). Homework is a completion of class work that should take no longer than 40 minutes.
