Student Council at Work
The Student Council is a student leadership organization that hosts various school-related events and engages in projects around the school to raise awareness for various issues (drugs/alcohol/safety/health (RED RIBBON WEEK), teacher/staff appreciation, etc.). We are a member of the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) and are assigned to TASC District.
Some of our major events include:
- Homecoming spirit

- No Place for Hate
- Class officer and executive board officer elections
- Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, and Health awareness projects
- Food and Toy Drives
- Campus & Community service projects
